You don’t look back if someone has repeatedly told you that you’re not welcome, in its most intimate sense.

You don’t look back if someone shrugged you off, both literally and figuratively, which really hurts even after they’re both done.

You don’t look back if someone keeps doing the opposite of what he actually says, or not even backing up his words with any actions.

You don’t look back if someone only gives crumbs.

You don’t look back if someone keeps projecting other personalities that are way too conflicting with the one he presents when it’s just the two of you.

You don’t look back if someone can easily treat you like you’ve never existed before.

You don’t look back if someone betrays you and it hurts like hell.

You don’t look back if someone can still talk to you like they’ve never done anything wrong that has put you in despair for quite a long time.

You don’t look back if someone constantly makes you feel sad.

You don’t look back if someone constantly makes you feel unworthy.

You don’t look back if someone hasn’t changed in order to have a healthy relationship with you.

You don’t look back if someone keeps confusing you in all ways up until the point where you no longer know what’s real or not; especially who he really is.

You don’t look back if someone can’t get a grasp of what he really needs and wants, which in turn has hurt you and other people as well.

You don’t look back if someone still don’t have the words after everything that has happened.

You don’t look back if someone is just happy as long as he can get something from you.

You don’t look back if someone puts you in a game where the only sure winner is him.

You don’t look back if someone shares “your song”, typically just to anyone.

You don’t look back when you finally realize that someone is really not up for something genuine in the first place.

You don’t look back when you finally realize that you’ve done everything and you still got tons of disrespect, arrogance, pride/ego, confusion, conflicting attitudes and behaviors, and all things sad and painful.

Before you move forward, release all anger. After that, go on. Walk or run,  whatever you like. Bring all the things that he taught as well as both the good  and bad memories, but don’t look back.
