I found this video and it really has something insightful to say about love competitions. Enjoy!

Been there a couple of times throughout my lifetime and damn them all! HAHAHA! Just kidding. You know what’s the most valuable lesson I’ve learned after experiencing all of that?

“Never ever take it personally if someone doesn’t pursue you.”

Read this entry in one of my favorite websites and your head and heart will be cleared of unnecessary thoughts. Or if you can’t relate but you know someone in your life that badly needs support, share this!

8 Ways Life Sucks The Hell Out Of You

Magkikita rin tayo, Peter June Simon

As promised, this is the article I wrote as part of our training in the Regionals Schools Press Conference (RSPC) last 2015. I was a contestant for Feature Writing- Filipino.

To the guy who did not break the gaze

There’s this guy that I seemed to have an odd connection with from not a long time ago. I was doing an awkward walk for a fashion show in one of my classes and he’s one of those invited to watch. As I was going forward to make a pose (which I’m really not good at), our eyes met and his face registered to me.

He’s kinda angelic and I’m not just using a flowery word here to exaggerate. He doesn’t have wings nor a halo, but have you seen those movies about fallen angels and observed how angels are portrayed there? They all seem timid, like they don’t know how to speak. And when they do speak, you’ll only hear a very small amount of words that will make them more mysterious. They have this aura of wildness and danger hidden under a very soft and innocent mask.

That guy has all of those. But that moment in the classroom isn’t the one I’m referring as the “odd connection”. It happened on another day. It was a rainy, cloudy day as I was traveling back to Tagaytay. If I’m right, classes were cut for a reason I can’t remember anymore. I was riding an ordinary bus. When we reached Olivarez Plaza, the bus stopped and started unloading passengers. When it’s my time to go downstairs, I saw him right in front of me, just some distance away. He was eating street foods. The moment I set my eyes on him, he had his eyes on me too.

That moment, I remembered our not-so-significant quick glance before and I decided not to shift my eyes away this time. He’s still looking at me while holding the stick with I don’t know what, fishball maybe? I slowly go one step down, not just because of the slippery stairs, but because I wan’t to try if he will not break the gaze. Another one step down and he’s still looking at me straight in the eyes. Another step and another. Staring at his eyes gave this feeling that I don’t know how to describe because I can’t understand it. I’m still looking straight at him and he’s still looking straight at me. Like our eyes are kinda playing a game or what. Neither of us broke it until I landed on the ground and decided that it’s time to ride a jeepney and go home HAHAHA!

I don’t know. Maybe it isn’t odd for you guys, but for me it’s kinda like that. Or maybe I’m just a hopeless romantic. Oh, yeah, maybe HAHAHAHA! He’s really beautiful though.

Let’s call him Jace Hugs  and the reason why will be a secret for quite a long time 😉 HAHAHA! 😀

Crush of the Week: Logan Lerman

Ever heard the term ‘Book Boyfriends’? Well, we all have our fair share of them, at least if you read books though or have watched their movie counterparts.

Male characters that we love, believe it or not, affect the way we see the opposite sex in the real world. We unconsciously want to see the qualities we adore on those male personas, from the guys in our reality. Most of the time, we end up disappointed…right? But that’s okay! We can still go back to the books/movies so we can relish on them all over again and forget the crappy, real dudes out there. HAHA! Kidding!

In this list, I swoon over No. 3 Jace Herondale from The Mortal Instruments, though I will go for Jace Wayland, his previous version in a movie played by Jamie Campbell Bower. I think the guy featured here is from the TV version.

Also, my ever favorite Will Traynor of Me Before You at No. 12. There’s my hard-headed but cute boyfiee Fitzwilliam Darcy from Pride and Prejudice at No. 10, but I prefer the version played by Sam Riley in Pride, Prejudice and Zombies.

I also like Augustus Waters, Gale Hawthorne, Four, Christian Grey…and look there at Marius Pontmercy! I never knew until now that my idol Eddie Redmayne portrayed him!
