Let’s just accept the fact that one of the most hurtful moments in life will be…
not being able to play the song you had an LSS with, all because you can’t play specific chords that are so difficult for your fingers.
Yeah! It really sucks! By the way, LSS refers to that moment where you can’t control yourself in repeating and humming the last song you listened upon. You get hooked to it, as if the notes were aroma that have gone their way through your nose. Then to your head, to your heart, then to your whole being! Wait, why are you smiling? Did you remember a jiffy of yours in that situation before? What song was that? I’m pretty sure it happened not just once to you, too. With the infinite great songs out there, I can’t blame you nor myself.
Going back, I have this song that I really like. It sounds like a lullaby – Night Changes by One Direction. Just love its slow rhythm opposed to the bands common pop rock genre. Been so eager to play it in my guitar, until now that I found time. Ultimate Guitar has always been a helping hand in times like this. Amazing and helpful site!
I typed the title on the Search Bar then tadaaaa! There are different versions listed. I pick the first one. I instantly grabbed my guitar after seeing that the chords were familiar, and easy to me. I’m almost in the Cloud 9 when I saw “stressful” signs along the breakdown and bridge of the song which goes like these: F#m and C#m
Immediately, I became so down. I knew that those chords were hard, especially for beginners like me. When I got the table of chords from my Mama’s song hits magazine, I saw I’m correct. Can’t even understand what to do with the ) sign on the first fret of the F#m chord. So I googled it then found the answer. It means that I’ll have to leave the fret where that symbol is placed – blank, no fingers. But you know this chord is still difficult, even the other one. Got my fingers and fingertips swollen. Seems like my feelers were in a gymnastics or ballerina class!
Yet, this will never be a hindrance to me. I’ll continue practicing, notably now that I’m becoming better and better one step at a time. I’m gonna slay these wtf chords, and gonna play any song I wanted to… soon.
What can you say about this? Are you a music lover too? A singer? A musician? Do you play instruments? How about a time in your life when you faced an obstacle along the way towards a goal or ambition? Tell me your thoughts, your story! 😊 🎵 🎶 🎧
Gals have big, big hearts! Aren’t we girls? I wanna hear you screaaaaaaaaaaam!
We love at 101%. That’s just us. This is one of the reasons why those that we idolize, e.g. known personalities like celebrities are really lucky. There are many of us who can do very “fantamazing” things just for them. Stuff that may seem impossible at first, but we still make to happen. When a girl transforms into a fangirl, she turns into a superhero. Defending her idol from his bashers, and supporting him all the way even if it means no sleeping at all just to trend him on Twitter. Liking and sharing her favorite dance group’s new video in YouTube, mentioning her celebrity crush in a post with the knowledge that he mayn’t reply. Buying the brand of cloth that her idol endorses to show bursting loyalty, portraying them in Artista Kalook-a-Like (Celebrity Look-a-Like) competitions in schools, and a lot more efforts!
Girls aren’t insane, just using the full capacity of their hearts. We can truly love a person we really adore, even if he will never come to meet us ever. Loving from afar you know?Well if he helps us to enjoy this life more, then he deserves our affection. Yet sometimes, we get hurt by doing so. Let me share my story: I am an immense fan of the boy band One Direction ( a late one that you’ll understand more by reading this Pick Your Summer Crush!). Niall Horan, the blonde one is my utmost crush among all of them. I followed them on Twitter, even tagging Niall on the post that I linked here a while ago. Oh! If only you know how much I prayed that may a miracle happen. That he will reply with a, “This is so cute! Thanks and love ya too.” But there was none. Soon after it’s okay, and I moved on fast.
I accepted the reality that with the millions of fans mentioning, tagging him in infinite number of posts, I may not standout. Given also that he’s busy with golf things that time, visiting children athletes. However one night, I opened my Twitter then checked my notification. To my surprise I see Niall’s profile picture under the “followed you” notice. I point at the photo, and “Niall Horan” showed. It’s him! What… he followed me? What?! Oh my golly gosh!!!!!!!!! Is this for real? Then I hover again to the picture, yeah it’s him! While dealing with the euphoria, I noticed his followers- not more than ten. Immediately I was like, oh no!
I went to the account, and yes… discovered that it was a fake one! From 1000 ft. above, down to 1000 ft. below the ground- that’s what happened to my beating heart. It was a very painful experience- to be fooled! It’s much excruciating than not being known by Niall or by 1D. Do these parody/ impostor accounts know how much they agonize sweet, innocent hearts? Hope they’ll stop. Oh! Fangirling hurts sometimes, and when it does… it’s just devastating. After that incident, I managed to move on again (glad I’m able to). Here I am continuing my love for the biggest boy band the universe has ever had. I love you Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and of course my Niall Horan! After the break ends, we’re gonna rock again!

Summer may be a bit boring sometimes, especially when you don’t like outdoor stuff. You may start missing school, your friends and the fun activities. But worry no more! I found a solution for that. LOL!
Well actually, what I stated above is a joke. I found a CUTE, FUNNY OPTION rather than a mere solution. You may try if you want to. Now here it is (I know that One Direction Fans will be mad about this). Now that the boy band is in a hiatus, is also the time I’ve been greatly affected by their fever! WTH! I have no idea what I’m doing in those times that they were on their peak (referring to times when Zayn Malik was still there). I honestly feel very bad that I wasn’t able to join their fandom, when they were just starting up to the time when they were still strong even if Malik departed.
This is how it happened. My good friend/classmate, Britzy, showed me the This Is Us documentary film of One Direction. Immediately, I became a fan in just a matter of seconds. THEIR MUSIC IS SO GOOD! That time, the band is already preparing for a break (SHIT!) Until now, I am obsessed with them. Searching, downloading their songs, videos, pictures, performances. Laughing at their funny moments with James Corden. Watching interviews of them, and all the stuff. Most especially, I am so hooked with Niall James Horan
Why do I like him?
- He is cute and I’m cute. So we are a MATCH!
- I love it when he laughs. It makes me giggle a lot in return.
- I like his “chill” and “just-go-with-the-flow” personality.
- Good singing voice.
- He is very comical.
HE IS ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So yeah..you got it! I’m suggesting you find your Summer Crush. Hihihi! It may help you enjoy your time. Go get your gadget and be inspired Just make sure you’ll not stay late at night, just to stalk more. See to it that you’ll not cross any boundary, to the point that it’s already unhealthy for you. You know what I mean.
Sending hugs MVSS
