The Making of Bittersweet (Back Cover)

Take a look at BITTERSWEET’S BACK COVER put together by the fabulously talented, Kaed Paras.

Bittersweet is a collection of prose and poetry about love and life. More importantly, it contains pieces that were the aftermath of the author’s story of naivety― conceited but beautiful at the same time. It will take you to the highs of surreal happiness and to the lows of melancholia. It will make you see that growth is the end of all things good and bad.

Lastly, it is a testimony that bitter and sweet comes hand-in-hand in life. There is no other way around, but to fully embrace it with a genuine smile in the face and in the heart.

The Making of Bittersweet (Book Cover)

Trivia Time 🍰🍭🍨

BITTERSWEET’S BOOK COVER was done by the fabulously talented, Kaed Paras.

After trying different color palettes to my liking, we finally ended up with the light blue and slightly greenish colors and incorporated light pink as well for the font.

We decided that the theme will be minimalist and will show something like a tea party as I wanted to convey how you can get the best out of this collection by reading it while sipping tea or anything warm ☕️ The combination of the two will spoil your heart 💙

It was also my Momma’s wish to put a cake on it hahaha! And since I love her so much, I agreed! She even instructed me of details like it should be just a slice and she’s also the one who suggested to put those things in the table as well as the fabulous chair.

Momma and especially Kaed have made this beautiful. Kaed has always been this good. We worked on small projects before and this is our first big project together. I hope we can collaborate again in the future.

Artflop’s New Editor!

Yesterday, I sent a poem to ‘Artflop’ to be published on their page. Instead, they made me their editor, and I am so, very much overwhelmed!!!

Artflop is a platform of expression and appreciation. According to them, what is considered flop by some is a masterpiece for their art community.

I am so excited for what’s in store for the page in the next years to come. I know that  ‘Artflop’ will be successful, and that it humbles me to know that I am one of those founders of a promising page.

It makes me happy that you’re not living anymore in a dystopian world.
Because I know you’re in a better place right now.
We may not be together anymore or maybe only right now,
But I know God and angel’s company is better than mine.
